Location
- Northern Lapland, Municipality of Sodankylä (sodankyla.fi), Urho Kekkonen National Park.

- The closest huts are the Rautulampi Day-use Hut, the Rautulampi Open and Reservable Wilderness Hut and Suomunruoktu Open and Reservable Wilderness hut.
- You can get to the hut on foot or by skis from several starting points (pdf 659kt).
Facilities
- A table and benches.
- A wood-burning stove
- There's no lighting in the hut, please bring your own candles.
- There is a smoke alarm in the hut, but we recommend bringing your own device with you.
- A campfire site, a dry toilet and a woodshed
- Drinking water can be taken from the River Kaarreoja, which is 400 meters away.
Notices
- The hut is situated on a marked hiking trail. .
- Overnight stays are not possible.
- You can camp by the campfire sites.
- The hut is not suited for the disabled.
- When leaving the hut, remember that it has to be clean and ready for the next customers.
- The hut is situated on a marked hiking trail. The nearest shops and restaurants are located in Saariselkä and in Kiilopää.
- Please note that it takes some time before the hut is properly warm.
- Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
