Pöyrisjärvi Reservable Wilderness Hut
No more reservations can be made for 2024. Exceptionally, reservations for 2025 will only open on 26 November 2024 at 9 a.m. at Eraluvat.fi
The landscape is dotted with sand dunes and eskers on the north side of Lake Pöyrisjärvi. There are numerous small lakes with sandy shores near the hut. The area surrounding the hut is barren fell heaths, which offer unimpeded views far into the distance. As there are no signposted trails in Pöyrisjärvi, it is more suited to experienced hikers. There are old, unmarked trails throughout the area, as it is an important fishing, hunting and reindeer herding area for local residents. The most popular time to visit is August-September. The hut is particularly popular with mountain bikers.
Reservable wilderness hut, 14 persons.
