The boating base is located on the southeast shore of Iso Jääsaari Island in Lake Inari.

The boating base can be used also at winter time.
Facilities
A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker and a water bucket in a campfire hut, in a cooking shelter there is a gas cooker and a table-benches. Dry toilet, firewood shelter and a pier.
Notices
Pets are allowed in the shelter, but only if other visitors consent to it. There is a open wilderness hut on the same cape.
There is a recycling point at the campfire hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
