Northern Lapland, Inari region, Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area.

Rousajärvi, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 69° 41.2445' lon: 28° 32.2984'  ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7731764 E: 559592.

The hut is located on the northern side of River Näätämöjoki, on the eastern shore of a brook that flows from the southeastern part of Lake Rousajärvi, at a distance of 100 m from the lake.

The hut is suitable for winter use. It was built in 1969.

Facilities

  • A wood-burning stove and a gas stove.

Notices

  • Pets are allowed in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
  • The Sevettijärvi‒Pulmanki Hiking Trail and the Inarinpolku Trail cross next to the hut.
  • Safety on hiking.
  • There are bins for mixed waste at the hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste to one of the area's recycling points. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
