Within easy reach of the historic town of Turku, the forests and marshes of Kurjenrahka are home to many wild animals and birds, including stately long-legged cranes and curious woodland owls. Ski-trails tour the silent snow-covered marshes in the winter.
Suitability: Suitable for visitors of all ages all year. The yard of the Kurjenpesä Nature Information Hut is suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties.
