Directions to Lauhanvuori National Park
Lauhanvuori National Park is located on the boundary of South Ostrobothnia and Satakunta Regions, about 90 km from the towns of Seinäjoki and Pori, and about 140 km from the towns of Tampere and Vaasa.
To the Hiking Trails
The hiking trails start at the Lauhan laki, Spitaalijärvi and Kivijata parking areas. Starting points for the hiking trails.
By Car to Lauhanvuori
Lauhanvuori Hill parking area, Lauhanvuorentie 656, Isojoki. Space for approximately 17 cars. Winter maintenance.
Spitaalijärvi parking area, Isojoki. Turn south off Lauhanvuorentie road towards Lake Spitaalijärvi. Space for approximately 15 cars. No winter maintenance.
Kivijata parking area, Lauhanvuorentie 603, Isojoki. Space for approximately five cars. No winter maintenance.
There is parking space for caravans and trailers in the Spitaalijärvi parking area. You can stay in the caravan area for three nights. Lauhansarvi Nature Tourism Centre (lauha.johku.com) offers services for visitors with caravans.
By Bus to Lauhanvuori
The nearest bus stops are Muurahainen (Kauhajoki) and Sarviluoma (Isojoki) crossroads. You can access the park trails directly from Muurahainen. However, it is 7.5 km to the start of the Pirunkierros trail from the crossroads at Sarviluoma.
