Accessible Ruunaa
In the Ruunaa Hiking Area, there is an accessible 650-metres-long plank trail which takes you to the edge of impressive Neitikoski Rapids to admire the white water, to fish for Trout (Salmo trutta) and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), and to barbecue sausages. There is an accessible dry toilet at the Neitikoski parking area.
Partner companies at Ruunaa Hiking Area organise white water rafting trips on wooden boats for persons with impaired mobility. There are also two accessible rental cottages in the area. Ruunaa Hiking Centre has an accessible restaurant.

Accessible Accommodation
There are two accessible rental cottages in the area. Both have room for two users and their assistants. Both also have an accessible toilet. Ruunaa Hiking Centre rents one cottage, and Ruunaa Matkailu the other one.
White Water Rafting for Persons with Impaired Mobility
There are several white water rafting entrepreneurs in the area who have the capacity to also take on visitors with impaired mobility. A traditional white-water trip on a wooden boat through the 30-km-long Ruunaa Rapids route takes about 4 hours and includes a wilderness lunch.
