Čárajávri, Open Wilderness Hut ( so called Tsaarajärvi)

Open wilderness hut for 8 persons.
Location
Northern Lapland, Inari region, Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area.
Čárajávri, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 69° 46.9404' lon: 28° 15.0747' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7742095 E: 548256.
The hut is located in the northeastern corner of Inari, on the eastern shore of Lake Čárajávri (Tsarajavrrik), on the border of the municipalities of Inari and Utsjoki.
The hut is suitable for winter use. It was renovated in 2008.
Facilities
- A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
Notices
- Pets are allowed in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
- Safety on hiking.

There are bins for mixed waste at the hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste to one of the area's recycling points. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
