Kiäigunyeri  / Kaikunuora Open Wilderness Hut

The log cabin is painted red and the covered terrace is fenced. The cottage has a felt roof. In the back there is a wooden shed and big birch trees with green leaves.

Northern Lapland Region, Municipality of Inari, Inari Hiking Area.

The hut is located at the northern tip of Sarminiemi headland in the southern part of Lake Inari.

The hut is in good condition and is suitable for use in winter.

Facilities

  • A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
  • A pier.

Notices

  • Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
  • The hut is also called "Punainen Tupa" (the Red Hut).
  • Safety on hiking.
