Karhunjuomalampi Day-use Hut

The day-use hut at Karhunjuomalampi is closed until further notice due to a gas stove accident. The two campfire sites in the yard are serving customers as usual.

The hut is situated to the north of Ukonhattu Fell along several marked summer hiking trails.

At winter time there is a skiing trail to the hut from Kiimaselkä direction.

Facilities

A stove, a gas cooker, a campfire site and a campfire shelter. In the yard there a woodshed and outdoor toilet.

Water: The water quality of Karhunjuomalampi pond is not monitored. If you use the water for cooking or drinking, we recommend boiling it before use.

Notices

Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it. Make sure you pack a first-aid kit.
