The hut is located on the slope of Keski-Penikka Hill near the northwestern corner of the Martimoaapa Mire Reserve Area (in Finnish).

Notices

There is a lean-to shelter, maintained campfire site and dry toilet at the hut.
You can get water from a spring-fed brook located near the lean-to shelter. The water quality is not tested.
Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
