This hut was previously used by log floaters and is situated next to Auttiköngäs parking area. There are signposts from the Kuusamo - Rovaniemi road to Auttiköngäs, which is about 1 km down a gravel road.

Facilities

Natural stone fireplace, lean-to shelter 100 m from the hut. Dry toilets at Auttiköngäs parking area.

Notices

The hut is open year round.
The hut is accessible by wheelchair and pram.
There is a photograph exhibit in the hut which features log floating culture.
Visitors can take drinking water from the river (in which case it should be boiled before drinking) or from the café which is open during summer.
Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
