Facilities

There is an open fireplace in the middle, and benches around it. Wooden plank floor. 
A dry toilet near the hut.

 

Notices

No watertap or electricity.
Pets are not permitted in the hut.
Smoking is forbidden inside the Lapp Hut.
 
 

Directions and Public Transportation

There is a 700 m hiking from the Mikkossuontie parking area. Arriving from the Teijo Nature information hut turn right after Mathildedal village.

There is a 2,3 km hiking from the Teijo Nature Centre.

The Lapp Hut can be reached by public transport. Coaches (vainionliikenne.fi, in Finnish) travel from Salo to Teijo, some of them come all the way to Mathildedal village. The route is Salo - Teijo - Perniö. From the village is a 2 km hike to the hut. There is also a local village taxi, tel.int. +358 2 736 6410/ Laaksonen.
 

 
Waste Management The principles of Hiking Without Littering are practised in Teijo national park. This means that visitors are asked to take with them everything they brought into the area.
