Karhunjuomalampi Day-use Hut
The day-use hut at Karhunjuomalampi is closed until further notice due to a gas stove accident. The two campfire sites in the yard are serving customers as usual.

The hut is situated north to Ukonhattu Fell along several marked summer hiking trails.
In winter (from week 8 onwards) there is a cross-country skiing trail to the hut from Kiimaselkä direction.

Facilities
Inside the hut a stove and a gas cooker and necessary cookware (bring your own tableware and utensils). In the yard two lean-to shelters, a woodshed and a non-composting dry toilet (bring your own toilet paper).
Water: The water quality of Karhunjuomalampi pond is not monitored. If you use the water for cooking or drinking boil it before use. Swimming and washing dishes is prohibited in the pond.
Notices
Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
Make sure you pack a first-aid kit.
Waste Management
No waste management. Every visitor is responsible for taking their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
