Price

Note! Vorlokki Rental Hut is available for rent again from May 1, 2023.

• The entire hut 100 € / first day, next ones 50 € / day + booking fee 20 €.

Facilities

• There is a fire place in the main room, and a heating stove and a gas cooker in the kitchen.
• Please note that it takes some time before the hut is properly warm!
• Candles for lighting. No electricity.
• A saucepan, a frying pan, a coffee pot, no crockery.
• Drinking water can be taken from the spring close to the hut.
• A small cellar dug in the ground for food storage.
• No bed linen.
• A dry toilet, a woodshed.
• There is a separate wood-heated sauna next to the hut.
• It is possible to swim in the pond close to the hut (no jetty) .
• A campfire site on the yard.

Keys

The keys can be picked from the Ukkohalla tourist info centre, Ukkohallantie 20, 89400 Hyrynsalmi. Tel. +358 (0)8 748 500.

• You must show the receipt as proof of payment when picking up the key.
• The key must be returned to the same place.

Directions

Ukkohalla tourist resort, approx. 6 km on foot and about 4 km on skis.

You can reach Vorlokki Rental Hut on foot. The hut is located by the Ukkohalla Nature Trail, the Köngäskierros Trail and the UKK Trail. In winter, the Ukkohalla skiing trail runs by the hut. 

The Vorlokki rental hut cannot be reached by car or public transport.

Notices

• Vorlokki serves as a ski café from 1 January–30 April.
• The separate sauna building is only available to those renting the hut.
• A hiking trail and a skiing trail run by the rental hut. There may be some hikers at the yard.
• Pets are not allowed in the hut.
• There are no accessible services at the hut.
• Please note that it takes some time before the hut is properly warm!
